Objective

A kitchen supervisor manages the operations of the kitchen. As a kitchen supervisor you are required to supervise all kitchen staff, ensure that the kitchen is well stocked and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all staff under you are always in complete and proper PPE.
• Ensure food exciting the kitchen to our clients is properly prepared and presented.
• Follow all laid down food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work hand in hand with the procurement department in ensuring proteins and dries for the day and week are in stock in advance to allow smooth. running of the kitchen.
• Always adhere to the principle of FIFO when handling stock in your station
• Always be proactive in your duties liase with stores personnel for any irregularities with daily food quantities issued.
• Always follow the health and safety rules laid down by the safety officer.

Qualifications/Skills

• Full G12 Certificate
• Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food Production
• Good communication skills
• Food handler certification
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
