VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Internal Security Guard
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and alert Internal Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and commodities. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrutinizing incoming visitors, customers, and commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and inspect incoming customers, visitors, and commodities to prevent unauthorized access or contamination.
- Verify the identity and credentials of visitors and customers.
- Conduct thorough searches of vehicles, containers, and packages carrying commodities.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor and customer access.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure seamless security operations.
- Report any suspicious activity or security breaches to management.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- 2-3 years of experience in security or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Physical fitness.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
