Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Injection Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our injection molding machines, ensuring the efficient production of PET preforms that meet strict quality standards. You will also be responsible for performing mold changes and setups to maximize production efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Operate injection molding machines for PET preforms, following standard operating procedures to meet production targets.
- Mold Changing & Setup: Safely perform mold changes and setups on injection molding machines, ensuring correct alignment, attachment, and configuration.
- Process Monitoring & Control: Monitor production processes and adjust machine parameters to optimize performance, minimize downtime, and maintain product quality.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., cleaning molds, lubricating equipment) and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they adhere to company and industry quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Documentation: Record production data and complete relevant logs for process tracking and quality control.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience operating injection molding machines, preferably in PET preforms or plastics manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with injection molding processes, mold handling, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to perform mold changes, including setup and alignment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong quality control focus with the ability to spot minor defects.
- Team Player: Good communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, if required.
