Job Description

Position: HR Officer
Location: Zambia
Industry: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with company goals.
- Oversee recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Support performance management by coordinating appraisals and developing employee growth plans.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage payroll, leave, and benefits administration.
- Handle employee relations by resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive work environment.
- Organize training and development programs to build employee skills and promote career growth.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Actively contribute to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
