The Local Government Service Commission Has Established Human Resource Management Committees In Local Authorities Countrywide In Accordance With The Service Commission Act No. 10 Of 2016. The Commission Has Delegated Some Of Its Functions To Preside On Human Resource Matters Relating To Officers In Division Iii And Iv Of The Local Government Service As Guided By Circular Minutes No.18 Of 2022.

In View Of The Above, Chasefu Town Council Is Inviting Applications From Suitably Qualified Energetic Zambians To Fill In The Following Positions.

2. Heavy Duty Operator/driver (2)

Responsibility

Operate, Drive And Control Heavy Equipment For Chasefu Town Council. Load And Offload Materials/equipment From Vehicles
Check, Keep And Maintain Equipment Functionality Regularly.
Have The Complete Knowledge Of Machine Settings And Keep Performance Records Of Machine.
Comply With The Safety Policies And Procedures In Order To Facilitate The Council Operations.
Provide Preemptive Maintenance On Equipment To Prevent Malfunction.
Conduct Pre-trip And Post-trip Evaluations Of Equipment

Qualifications

Must Be A Zambian With A Green National Registration Card (Nrc)
Must Have A Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
Must Have A Valid Driver’s License Class Te
Must Be Aged Between 21 And 45 Years
Must Have A Minimum Of 4 Years Of Driving Experience With A Reputable Organisation.
Priority Will Be Given To The Local Resident
