2025 LLOYDS FINANCIALS LIMITED GRADUATE TRAINEE PROGRAM (JUNIOR ANALYSTS – INVESTMENT & FINANCE)

Are you a recent graduate passionate about investment, finance, and sustainability? Do you have strong modelling skills and an interest in renewable energy? Join Lloyds Financials Limited as part of our 2025 Graduate Trainee Program, where you will develop your expertise in investment and finance.

About Lloyds Financials Limited:

Lloyds Financials Limited (LFL) is a leading provider of financial and technical services, specializing in investments and advisory services for projects in Agriculture, Energy, Infrastructure, Research, Mining, and Project Management. As part of our Graduate Trainee Program, we are looking for talented individuals to join us as Junior Economic Analysts. This is a unique opportunity to receive specialized training and mentorship in investment strategy, financial analysis, and project management.

Program Overview:

The one-year Graduate Trainee Program offers comprehensive training, focusing on investment and financial analysis, resource mobilization, financial modelling, project financing, and technical assessment of projects. Trainees will work closely with experienced professionals to support LFL’s mission of driving sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

–  Perform financial analysis and investment evaluation for various projects.

– Develop financial models in Excel to assess the viability and profitability of potential investments.

– Contribute to business plans, financial forecasts, and reports for senior management.

– Support due diligence processes and project financing.

– Assist in preparing monthly financial reports against contract budgets and program activities.

–  Provide technical assistance to program staff in managing financial documentation.

Qualifications Required:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment Analysis, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Insurance or related field.

Desired Skills and Qualities:

–  Demonstrated organizational skills, including time management and meeting deadlines.

– Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.

– Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

– Ability to prioritize, plan work, and exercise confidentiality.

– Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling.

– Ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights.

– Strong focus on accuracy in financial modelling, reporting, and project assessments.

– Ability to communicate financial and technical concepts clearly.

– Creative approach to overcoming challenges and developing innovative solutions.

– Background in renewable energy is a plus, but not a requirement.

– Collaborative and willing to learn and adapt to new financial tools and techniques.

Eligibility Criteria:

– Be a Zambian National.

– Be 28 years or younger as of 31st December 2025.

– Hold a Degree qualification
