Job Description


Prisoners’ Future Foundation (PFF) is a non-governmental organisation registered in the Republic of Zambia under the NGO Act of 2009. The organisation was established to address the welfare of serving inmates, former inmates, and citizens who come into conflict with the law. Its primary objective is to advocate for and respond to the rights of serving inmates, ex-inmates, and indigent individuals within Zambian society.

Key responsibilities

  •  Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  •  Process financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and reimbursements.
  •  Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenditures against  allocated funds.
  •  Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for internal and external  stakeholders.
  •  Help ensure compliance with donor guidelines and organisational financial  policies.
  •  Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and  correspondence.
  • Assist in organising financial documentation for projects and donor reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

  •  Grade Twelve certificate.
  • Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Distance students in their final year pursing the relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial management.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of finance software such as quick books will be an added
  • Demonstrated sense of integrity, adherence to ethics, and professionalism in all circumstances
  • Must be the resident of Kabwe District
