Yashoda Africa Trading Limited (YATL) company based on the Lusaka is inviting applications for the following full-time position:

Job Title: Farm Manager

A position for Farm Manager has arisen at Farms being operated by YATL.  The Farm Manager will run the daily activities of the farm which is located in Serenje.

Qualifications:

   Minimum Grade 12 Certificate

   Certificate/diploma in crop science, general agriculture or related field from a reputable and recognized college

Skills & experience:

   Minimum 3 years’ experience in crop production and managing large commercial farms

   Strong attention to detail

   Analytical skills

   Complex problem-solving abilities

   Leadership and motivation qualities

   High integrity

   Able to work with minimum supervision

   Keen and ready to foster business growth

Responsibilities:

   Meeting targets for crops and all related agricultural products

   Prudently using farm resources and maintaining highest levels of safety of farm property and workers

   Organising and implementing the main stock priorities timeously

   Developing monthly, quarterly and annual work plans as well as associated costs to meet the projected production targets

   Ensuring high level farm records management

   Any other duties as assigned by Directors
