We invite applications from suitably qualified and innovative individuals to take up the following position to be based at Ravens Country Club.
Facilities Manager
The successful candidate will be required to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of all facilities within the club premises, including but not limited to a futsal pitch, gymnasium, bar, basketball court, tennis court, swimming pool, soccer pitch, banquet hall, and golf course. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and meet the highest standards to enhance the overall experience of Patrons. This role will be reporting to Accountant Non-Core Assets.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility functionality.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades with maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Conduct regular facility inspections, addressing maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and negotiating maintenance contracts.
- Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and conducting performance evaluations in collaboration with CEC HR Team.
- Collaborate with the events management team to ensure facilities meet event requirements and coordinate with vendors.
- Respond to member inquiries and maintain high cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Promote environmental sustainability and educate staff and members on its importance.
To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:
- Diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a club or recreational facility setting.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and best practices for facility management.
- Proficiency in budget management, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in facilities management or related field (desired).
- Familiarity with sports facilities and equipment (e.g. futsal pitch, gymnasium, tennis court) is a plus.
