Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

I. Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems

II. Type in data provided directly from customers

III. Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

IV. Verify data by comparing it to source documents

V. Update existing data

VI. Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

VII. Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

VIII. Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

IX. Any other duties assigned

Candidate Specification

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Education Level: Accounting Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications: An Accounting qualification from a reputable institution would be preferred

Software: Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
