Job Title: Customs Clearing Agent/Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customs Clearing Agent/Officer to join our team. If you have a passion for customs clearing and forwarding, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of import and export processes, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
– Manage customs clearing and forwarding activities
– Prepare and submit customs declarations
– Ensure compliance with customs regulations and laws
– Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
– Analyze data and provide insights to improve customs clearing processes
Requirements:
– Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding or any related field
– Proficient in the use of the ASYCUDA system (Final and RIT declarations)
– At least 2 years of experience in the industry
– Proven technical knowledge of customs services declaration and taxation
– Excellent communication, planning, and data analysis skills
– Understanding of import and export processes
– Good credit with no criminal record
– Ability to manage relationships between customers, vendors, and suppliers
– Basic technical knowledge about motor vehicles
– Driver’s license required
– Must be a resident of Lusaka
