Simply put, BPTN is growing! As a start-up, we’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, so it only makes sense to expand the dream team! This is where you come in. We are looking for a seasoned business and tech leader in Zambia to come on as BPTN Zambia’s Country Manager. We are building a global network and want to bring on a business leader with the hustle and experience to elevate and finesse our Zambian business. This is a senior-level opportunity to play a critical role in building an engineering organization from the ground up and to lead a passionate team of technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to specific company business verticals, and drive business development and operational excellence.
Prepare and manage the annual business plan and budget, oversee all company activity, and take responsibility for the overall financial and business performance.
Be the face of BPTN Zambia in the business and tech community across the country.
Ensure that BPTN is part of the technology community and is seen as a thought leader’s team and business KPIs, and hold your team members accountable while creating an environment that brings out the best in everyone.
Motivate and direct top-performing team members and guide them to succeed at both exceeding performance targets as individuals and as a collective team.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Business Administration or Technology

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who embodies the following:

Minimum 6+ years’ progressive and proven technology or business leadership.
In-depth knowledge of various business functions, operations, and processes (sales & marketing, customer service, logistics, supply chain, finance).
Experience leading a technology team
Leadership experience from a forward-thinking and innovative environment.
Ability to make analytical decisions that generate growth and meet strategic goals.
You have a proven track record in selling sophisticated and innovative solutions to C level and other key decision-makers.
You have an existing network of key decision-makers for customer service within Zambia.
You are passionate about leading teams with the innate ability to connect and inspire.
Comfortable writing the playbook rather than following one.
Willingness to serve as both an individual contributor and a leader as we shape the organization. Scrappy and resourceful when facing challenges of all types, i.e., “no problem too small, no problem too large.”
