Job description:
Overall Job Purpose :
To accurately identify and allocate transport, clearing and other transit costs additional to supplier ExWorks price, for items ordered in Pronto and grouped in individual shipments, in order to better indicate true warehouse cost of goods
Specific Job Responsibility :
- Based on prealert documentation, specify purchase order line items from one or more suppliers to be identified as a single shipment
- Enter estimates of duties, agent service charges, and other nonrecoverable costs
- Actively pursue through Shipments Officer, confirmation of actual costs to replace estimates in the shortest possible time.
Job Specific Competencies :
- Proficiency in Pronto and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Customs clearing regulations and practice
- Familiarity with Company administrative structure and practices
- Familiarity with practices, processes and procedures throughout the logistics chain

Experience required to perform in this job:
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience in an administrative environment

Qualifications:
- Certified successful completion of secondary education
- Qualification in accountancy, bookkeeping or related field an advantage
- ZCILT certificate
