You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful project completion while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review project proposals, designs, and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations and analyze survey reports, maps, and other data.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to determine project requirements and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee the construction process and provide guidance to project teams.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in civil engineering technology and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Registration with the relevant professional engineering body (EIZ or equivalent).
• Valid certifications and licenses in civil engineering (if applicable).

• Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
• Proof of registration with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) or the equivalent professional engineering body.
