We are looking for enthusiastic, cheerful people to join our team at Il Mercato!

If you are an organised individual who works well in a team, can multi-task, and loves to smile while giving great customer service, then we want to hear from you!

If you are selected to join the team you will be responsible for:

Welcoming customers to Il Mercato.
Processing sales.
Preparing, plating and serving food and drinks.
Having knowledge of the menu and answering customers questions.
Making coffee and other hot drinks, and a range of fresh cold drinks.
Cleaning and maintaining high levels of cleanliness.
Displaying and organizing products neatly and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
Barista (coffee making) (Training will be given).

A knowledge of Food Prepping and Cooking is advantageous.

The successful candidates will be confident, happy people who love interacting with and serving our customers. They will also have a minimum of Grade 12, and probably have some work experience in a customer focused retail or hospitality environment.
