Job Description
Our client, based in Lusaka, seeks a dynamic and relationship-driven Business Relationship Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will focus on nurturing strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders within the educational sector. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal, strategic and organizational skills to help maintain the company’s competitive edge and drive its mission forward.
The Key Responsibilities Shall Include:
1. Client Relationship Management:
– Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
– Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
– Conduct follow-up meetings to strengthen long-term relationships.
Partnership Development:
– Identify and pursue opportunities with educational institutions, government agencies, NGOs, and aligned organizations.
– Negotiate and secure beneficial agreements to support business growth.
– Maintain and nurture long-term partnerships.
2. Strategic Planning & Execution:
– Collaborate with the management team to enhance client retention strategies.
– Provide insights to shape business strategies and service improvements.
– Set objectives that align with the company’s mission and growth goals.
3. Marketing & Brand Representation:
– Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
– Collaborate on strategies to enhance brand visibility.
– Support digital marketing efforts to strengthen outreach.
4. Reporting & Analysis:
– Track client feedback, partnership outcomes, and performance metrics.
– Prepare and present reports to the Managing Director.
– Identify trends and suggest improvements for client engagement.
5. Employee Training & Support:
– Train and support team members in client-facing roles.
– Share best practices for client and partner engagement.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Exposure:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
– At least 3 years in client relations, partnership management, or similar roles, preferably in the education or consultancy sector.
– Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
– Knowledge of Zambia’s educational and consultancy landscape.
– Proficiency in digital marketing tools and MS Office.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
– High client satisfaction and retention rates.
– Successful establishment and maintenance of partnerships.
– Positive feedback from clients and partners.
