Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to drive our business growth. The successful candidate will lead market research efforts, identify and secure new clients, and engage prospects from Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, and Angola for business collaboration opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Develop strategies to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones.
- Explore and establish business collaboration opportunities with local and international clients, particularly in Southern Africa.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to align business development strategies with the company’s objectives.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and networking events to expand our market presence.
- Prepare detailed business proposals, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be below 30 years of age.
- Diploma or Degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any business-related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business tools.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally to build partnerships.
