Luangwa Child Development Agency (LCDA) is a child and youth-centered, non-profit making, Non-Governmental Organization, working to support vulnerable children and households of Luangwa District in the areas of education, health, safe water provision, child protection, and family economic strengthening working in partnership with ChildFund Zambia.
About the position:
Working as a member of a diverse team committed to serving the vulnerable with practical and compassionate care, the Assistant Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will take the lead in documentation while implementing standardized tools for all sectors at the field level and aspects of current and future projects. The Assistant M&E officer will closely work with the program team.
Job Description
- Document results of the M & E system and produce periodic reports required by the organization and donors.
- Assist the various program teams in data analysis.
- Documentation of activities through shooting and production of videos
- Providing regular project reports through print and documentaries
- Participate in research activities and ensure outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project and shared with relevant stakeholders
- Able to facilitate during gatherings with different stakeholders and be able to report back effectively
- Facilitating team spirit among colleagues and promoting the organization through communications, influencing decision-makers through focused, relevant communication.
- Documentation of implemented activities by the organization
- Prepare monthly and annual organizational reports
- Able to disseminate relevant information to stakeholders y
Qualification skills and Knowledge
- Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in journalism.
- Must be sober-minded
- Knowledge in Monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage.
- Ability to think logically and systematically and have good organizational skills.
- Excellent in report writing and documentary production
- Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel)
- Must be prepared to work, lead, and train team members.
- Able to shoot, edit, and produce reports through videos/Documentaries
- Able to photograph quality photos
