Job Description
Assistant Financial Accountant
Key roles and responsibilities
- Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports.
- Preparation of payments and submission of all statutory returns such as Napsa, Nhima, Paye, Vat, Itx, PLevy.
- Preparation of annual audits.
- Ensure daily recording of transactions into Sage Partner and Sage Evolution Fixed Assets Register.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Customers and Suppliers Recons
- Invoicing Sales and receiving purchases into the accounting system.
- Inventory management
- Payroll preparations using Dove payroll
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA II, CIMA II, ZICA or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Demonstrated strong financial and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office,Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Member of ZICA a must
