Lushomo Trust – Grace Centre is currently looking for a qualified person for the position of ADMINISTRATOR
ORGANISATIONAL PROFILE
PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHMENT
Lushomo Trust – Grace Centre is a Community Based Project located in Kazungula District along Mambova Road.
The Centre offer Skills Training Programmes and also supports vulnerable girls with Education Sponsorship in Primary and Secondary Schools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION:
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. - EXPERIENCE:
Experience in administrative roles within TEVETA accredited education facilities. - SKILLS:
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in data management software; ability to work collaboratively.
DUTIES:
Job Summary:
- The Grace Centre administrator is responsible for overseeing various administrative functions within the institution, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting the mission of the founder.
- This role involves collaboration with, staff, students and stakeholders to foster a positive educational environment to make sure income generating activities are being effectively carried out to ensure the Centre is self-sustainable.
Administrative Oversight:
- Manage daily operations of Skills Training Departments and Centre Human Resource.
- Monitor and manage all Grace Centre Resources and Assets on behalf of the Board of Trustees and report any problems to the Coordinator and the Board Chairman/Founder immediately.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of institutional Policies and
- Procedures which should be aligned with the dreams and aspirations of the
- Founder and ensure it complies with the relevant authority.
- Market the Centre skills Program to potential students through various channels.
- Provide guidance and support to students, with regard to academic and administrative inquiries to ensure that we have sufficient students for each course as prescribed by TEVETA.
- Oversee the education outreach mission of vulnerable children in Primary and Secondary schools and follow all the procedures laid out by the Centre for selection of the children.
- Provide monthly report to the Management and Board Chairman/Founder.
- Liaising with the District CDF Committee to make sure the Center receives CDF funding for all the Skills Training starting 2025
Program Development:
- Collaborate with HODs to develop and assess academic programs and initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards set by the TEVETA and the Board.
- Update curriculum and resources as needed based on industry developments and feedback.
- Cultivate relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to support ongoing relevance and placement of students at graduation.
- Data and Financial Management:
- Maintain and analyze institutional data to inform decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Budget all the needful purchases and payments for the Centre in consultation with the Business Development Manager according to the funds available.
