Wideway International(Z) Investment Company Limited is looking for a Skilled and Detail-Oriented Accountant with experience in a diverse and dynamic business environment to manage our financial operations. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, handling regulatory payments and conducting internal audits to maintain financial integrity

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Regulatory Payments: Manage and process all regulatory payments, including NHMA, ZRA, Workers Compensation, NAPSA and other statutory obligations
In-house Auditing: Conduct regular in-house audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and identify areas for improvement
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets to ensure financial efficiency
Accounts payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
Tax Compliance: Ensure all Tax filings and payments are completed accurately and on time, complying with local regulations
Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision making processes
Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and areas of concern
KEY SKILLS

Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance
Attention to detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation and reporting
Analytical thinking: Strong analytical skills and with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with NHMA, ZRA Workers Compensation, NAPSA and other relevant regulations
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Full grade 12 school certificate with minimum of 5 Credits including English and Mathematics. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, from a recognized institution
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a diverse business environment
Certifications: Professional accounting certifications(e.g., ACCA, CIMA or ZICA)
