We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage our financial operations efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate income statements and balance sheets.
• Handle statutory reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting.
• Ensure timely completion of audits.
• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Prepare and submit tax returns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Zambian tax laws and regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
