Job Description:
Land Pro Investments Limited is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, experience in the real estate industry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

– Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

– Reconcile bank accounts and assist in cash flow management.

– Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.

– Budgeting and financial forecasting.

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

– Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making.

– Assist with financial planning for real estate projects and investments.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate or investment industry.

– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) or relevant professional accounting body.

Preferred Skills:

Professional certification (e.g ACCA or CIMA) is an added advantage.
