Kapasa Makasa University is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who are highly motivated and passionate about making a mark in the education sector to fill the position of lecturer on either part time or full-time basis in the Agriculture and Aquatic Sciences department.
1 Lecturer – Animal Science (expertise in Animal Production and breeding
The candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
Holder of a Master’s degree in Animal Science or related field.
Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise
Holder of an earned PhD or a Professor in Animal Science or related field will be an added advantage
At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
A teaching Methodology qualification is added advantage.
2. Lecturer of Crop Science (expertise in Crop Production, Agronomy, Plant Protection)
The candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
Holder of a Master’s degree in Crop Science or related field.
Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise
Holder of an earned PhD or Professor in Natural Resource or related field will be an added advantage
At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
A teaching Methodology qualification is added advantage.
3. Lecturer of Fisheries Science (expertise in Fisheries Biology, Ichthyology, Limnology)
The candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
Holder of a Master’s in Fisheries Science or related field.
Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise
Holder of an earned PhD or Professor in Natural Resource or related field will be an added advantage
At least two years of teaching and scholarship experience
A teaching Methodology qualification is an added advantage.
