Job Description: Business Development and Operations Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development and Operations Coordinator for our mid-entry level lodge. This role will be responsible for supporting the business development efforts and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the lodge. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in sales and marketing, as well as a diploma in hotel management or hotel operations, to effectively carry out the responsibilities of this role.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth.
Conduct market research to identify target customer segments and develop strategies to reach them.
Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new leads.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.

Operations Coordination:

Oversee daily lodge operations to ensure efficient and smooth functioning.
Coordinate with various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Monitor and manage room reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with guests.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, including occupancy rates, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Analyze sales and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Make recommendations based on data analysis to optimize business development and operational strategies.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.
Support and assist team members as needed to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
Diploma in Hotel Management or Hotel Operations.
Previous experience in business development, sales, or hotel operations is preferred.
Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
