JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Responsible for  customs compliance regarding clearing operations

2. To ensure proper submission of customs documents required to facilitate clearing of imported cargo

3. Coordinate Forwarding Operations

4. To liaise with officials in various agencies to ensure goods are cleared through customs or quarantine.

5. Maintain a good relationship with ZRA to ensure smooth operations

6. Manage customs documentation for clearing and forwarding

7. Service clients by advising on most effective and efficient mode of cargo movement, most appropriate routes, legislative requirements and educates on emerging trends in the industry

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree/Higher Diploma in  Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related field

2. At least 4 years proven experience in the clearing

3. Full and deep knowledge of customs clearing  of various category, such as RIB, RIT and

4. Leadership skills

5. Proficient in practicing customs clearing of various categories
