Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor  the implementation of Pride Community Health Organization’s programmes to ensure that results are achieved in accordance with the Organization’s Strategic Plan Objectives.
• Manage a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities including developing in consultation new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
• Coordinate and manage Pride Community Health Organization’s resource mobilization goal to achieve significant, predictable, multi-year funding to enable flexible support for Pride Community Health Organization’s programmes
• Coordinate cross program and intra program work in order to ensure coherence in Pride Community Health Organization’s programming in line with the strategic plan.
• Coordinate and manage the planning and execution of Pride Community Health Organization’s capacity building strategies
• Advise and make appropriate recommendations to the Head of Programmes on resource mobilization and implementation of the organization’s programmes and projects.
• Ensure the timely submission of narrative progress reports of good quality to respective cooperating partners and as need arises.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Programmes.

Required Attributes, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in development studies or equivalent preferably in social sciences. A post graduate academic qualification would be an added advantage.
• Experience working in the NGO sector for a minimum of five years.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, supervisory, and proposal writing skills.
• Proven experience in program management
• Proven experience managing a team.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of project management.
