Kitwe Vocational Training Centre, a public training institution under the Ministry of Technology and science URGENTLY requires an:

Job Purpose:

To perform hardware repairs, coordinate network. administration, applications support, systems operations, communications and PC technical support. To administer the database platform efficiently and effectively to ensure that the centre is able to meet its objectives.

Professional Qualification:

Diploma or degree in ICT

Education:

Grade 12 school Certificate with five ‘O’levels (credit or better, including English and Mathematics)

Experience:

At least two year’s minimum working experience

Knowledge, skills and Abilities:

• Network administration including set up, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Technical competence in IT operations, Network, Database and systems Management
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Domain Name systems (DNS)
• Knowledge of or experience in installation of local area network(LAN)
• Honesty and strong professional ethics
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong administrative and planning skills
• Risk analysis skills
