About the Role.
Restless Development Zambia seeks to recruit a dynamic, inspired and innovative young Zambian to fill the role of People and Performance Coordinator. The People and Performance Coordinator will be based in Kabwe under the organisation’s People and Performance unit. The People and Performance Coordinator will be required to work with the Senior Operations Manager- Governance, People, Finance & Admin, Safeguarding to carry out a range of human resource functions including recruitment, induction, capacity building and safeguarding. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and IT skills, a relevant Human Resource qualification and thorough knowledge of Zambia’s human resources practices and labour laws.

About You.
Essential and Desirable skills and experience
- Graduate-Level Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, preferably within international NGOs
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a senior Human Resource role
Have thorough knowledge of Zambia’s human resources practices and labour laws. - Paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
- Experience in staff performance management systems
- Experience and knowledge of organisational key performance indicators and Knowledge of safeguarding
- Strong people skills to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent administration and organisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some experience in delivering training
- Flexible and adaptable with an ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- High competence in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing the performance of staff or interns
- Experience managing grievance, disciplinary or misconduct cases
- Ability to work with limited supervision, to make decisions, and work on own initiative
- Ability to demonstrate strong IT skills, including the use of in-house databases, Microsoft Office applications, and Human resource information systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people. Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to operate within tight deadlines and manage a number of work activities at any one time.
- Flexibility and the ability to establish personal priorities
- Exercising good judgement.
- Pays attention to detail
Educational Background
Minimum: Graduate-Level Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, preferably within international NGOs
