Our Client in the Automotive industry seeks to recruit a Branch Manager to oversee the Kitwe dealership. The ideal candidate needs to create a positive first and lasting impression of the dealership and manage all aspects of branch operations in order to ensure achievement of customer enthusiasm, owner loyalty, and goals related to increase in vehicle sales, service and parts volume and profit. Qualified candidates for the role of Branch Manager should have at least 5 years of viable experience in the day-to-day management of a retail operation.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reporting To: Directors
Supervision Of: Branch staff members
Interacts With: Senior Management, Clients, Customers

JOB DESCRIPTION

Entire operations of the branch; including sales, finances, parts inventory, vehicle service, and long- and short-term business strategies.
Team building and Leadership to build a successful team dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Adhere to and maintain dealership policies and process.
In collaboration with the Head of Sales & Marketing, create and implement marketing strategies to maximize business opportunities by identifying regional customer needs and required services to promote the sale of vehicles.
Perform ongoing market evaluation and adapt operations to ensure market competitiveness.
Manage appropriate resources (facilities, equipment, technical information) and advise senior management to assist with implement changes to meet evolving market needs.
Maximize profits while maintaining an excellent public reputation in both sales and service.
Manage open and effective communication between all departments in branch and HQ as well as vendors, suppliers, and Customers.
Establish customer enthusiasm and owner loyalty business goals and strategies.
Track, capture, and share customer perceptions of branch performance and satisfaction indicators with Management.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience: 5 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: University degree in Business Administration or similar industry related diploma or qualification.
Software: MS Office
Equipment: Industry related
Knowledge Of: Business operations and Financial analysis
Skills To: Multi-tasking, time management, communication, analytical thinking and negotiation
Ability To: Work independently towards set targets, Creative problem solving skills and procedure knowledge
Other Requirements: Application of brand/competitive product knowledge, Computer and Business processes systems
