JOB DESCRIPTION

Greeting and welcoming clients to the salon, maintaining a clean and organized work station
Recommending suitable hair care products and hairstyles to clients
Identify chronic scalp conditions and advise clients to seek medical treatment
Assist in upselling salon products and services
Safe use of equipment and chemicals
Assist with laundry and linens as needed

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience: 2 years plus
Education Level: Secondary School
Qualifications: Experienced hairstylist/hairdresser
Equipment: Work related
Knowledge Of: Products sold by the salon
Skills To: Hair plaiting, wigs making
Ability To: Develop your own clientele through social media and customer referrals
Other Requirements: Hair styling and hair treatment skills are added advantage
