We are looking for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to ease children’s transition into organized education. The Pre-School Teacher will teach the children important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To design and submit schemes of work

2. To comprehensively extrapolate and submit weekly lesson plans

3. To ensure quality lesson delivery and validation processes

4. To organize all teaching aids prior to opening of the new term

5. Take full responsibility for children’s safety in the class

6. Employ a best-practices-approach-to-work attitude

7. Take ownership of self-development and growth

8. Any other lawfully relevant duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Knowledge of best practices and pre-school educational methods

2. Ability to engage the children and earn their trust and attention

3. At least three (3) years working experience in a reputable School

4. Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms;

5. Excellent communication and instructional skills;

6. Full Grade 12 certificate with 5 Credit or better;

7. Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development.

8. Registered and licensed with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)

9. Must hold high levels of integrity and professionalism.
