EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The National Assembly of Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:

SENIOR CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, RESEARCH AND TRAINING OFFICER (x1)

a. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development of curricula, delivery of training programmes, and applied research activities to support the mandate of the Institute for Parliamentary Studies & Training.
  • Coordinate development, review, and updating of training curricula and learning materials;
  • Coordinate planning and delivery of training and professional development programmes;
  • Oversee applied research activities, studies, and publication of knowledge products;
  • Ensure integration of research findings into training programmes and learning resources;
  • Coordinate engagement of facilitators, researchers, and subject-matter experts;
  • Prepare technical reports and briefs on curriculum, training, and research activities; and
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

b. Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade Twelve (12) Certificate;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field;
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is an added advantage; and
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in curriculum development, training, or research, preferably in a public sector or governance environment.
