ACCOUNTANT

(Reports to the Senior Accountant): Monthly Gross Pay: ZMK 12,000 -15,000

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time. Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting entries.
• Filing VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, WITHHOLDING TAX and Income tax returns. Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and mentoring.

Qualifications and experience

• ZICA Graduate Licentiate, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification and ZICA membership is mandatory.
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory.
