Responsibility: Technical Appraisal    Undertakes effectively the technical appraisal of regional grid development projects in order to facilitate the implementation of rural electrification projects Project Tender Specifications    Undertakes effectively the preparation of technical specifications for the tender for regional Grid development projects in order to facilitate conformity to expected standards. Site Assessment and Selection     Undertakes effectively the assessment and selection of project sites in order to facilitate the commencement of projects. Project Planning    Undertakes effectively the planning for regional grid development projects in order to guide programme implementation. Infrastructure Design    Undertakes effectively the design of infrastructure of regional grid development projects in order to ensure they meet organisational standards and objectives. Quality Management System     Undertakes effectively the implementation and maintenance of regional Grid development quality management systems in order to ensure compliance to set standards. Risk Management    Undertakes effectively the preparation and updating of the regional risk register in order to ensure effective management of risk. Skill : Ability to write comprehensive and analytical reports Computer literate Inter-personal skills Integrity Oral Skills – Able to communicate effectively in English Emotional Intelligence Confidentiality Analytical Qualification Required: Grade 12, Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia, Validation Certificate from Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA), Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent Job Opening date : 16-Jun-2026 Job closing date : 30-Jun-2026
