MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

General Requirements

• Grade 12 School Certificate.

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in the position being applied for.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be willing to work in Mufulira and comply with all company safety requirements.

• Relevant certifications, licenses, and qualifications where applicable.

POSITION-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL WORKERS

• Minimum Grade 12 School Certificate.

ELECTRICIANS

• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• Valid Electrical License.

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.

BOILER MAKERS

• Craft or Trade Test Certificate in Boiler making.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fabrication, installation, and maintenance works.

WELDERS

• Craft or Trade Certificate in Welding.

• Minimum 2 years’ welding experience.

CODED WELDERS

• Valid Welding Coding Certification.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Industrial/Mining welding projects.

STEEL ERECTORS

• Experience in structural steel installation and erection.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience.

MECHANICAL FITTERS

• Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical Fitting.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance and installation works.

PIPE FITTERS

• Relevant Trade Qualification.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in pipe installation and maintenance.

RIGGERS

• Valid Rigging Certificate.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in lifting operations and rigging activities.

SAFTEY OFFICERS

• Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in safety management within mining or construction environments.

ADMIN/SITE CLERKS

• Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in site administration and record management.

CLEANERS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial, industrial, or office cleaning.

STOREMAN

• Diploma in Stores Management or Purchasing and supply

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in stores and inventory management.

DRIVERS (LIGHT VEHICLE)

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Minimum 2 years’ driving experience.

• Defensive Driving Certificate will be an added advantage.

SUPERVISORS

• Relevant Trade Qualification.

• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in Mining, or Industrial projects.
