First Alliance Bank is hiring for a Product Development Specialist.

Job Purpose:

The Product Development Specialist will lead the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of FAB’s banking products and revenue-driving campaigns. This role is instrumental in strengthening deposit mobilisation, enhancing product profitability, and supporting digital innovation across the Bank.

Key Requirements:

  • Lead end-to-end development of new banking products across Retail, SME, Corporate, Agriculture, NGO, and Digital segments.
  • Conduct financial modelling and profitability analysis for all new and existing products.
  • Design revenue-generating and deposit mobilisation campaigns with clear ROI projections.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements to improve profitability and customer uptake.
  • Coordinate cross-functional product development with Marketing, Digital, Credit, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging customer needs and opportunities.
  • Prepare product documentation, including concept notes, manuals, tariffs, customer journeys, and SOPs.
  • Support the Customer Care & Marketing Committee (CCM) with product insights and campaign proposals.
  • Ensure all product developments adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in product development, business analysis, or
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Experience in designing customer acquisition or deposit mobilization campaigns is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with digital banking, fintech integrations, and customer journey mapping.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Innovation and customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
