WELDER – HUNTLEY FARM (x1)

The Required Skill for this Role Includes: 

• Welding metal spare parts in various shapes
• Identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment
• Operating other accessory equipment and performing tasks necessary for welding metal
• Controlling the processes of burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of spare parts;
• Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met
• Preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment for welding
• Ensuring welded parts are arranged in order before being assembled into final products
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior / supervisor.

The Required Qualifications and Experience are:

• Must have a Grade 12 Certificate
• Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication or related field
• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in the same field.
• Must be a Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia
