DUTIES

1.Interpreting spoken Chinese in real-time during business meetings, conferences, and other events
2.Translating written documents from Chinese to English and vice versa
3.Proofreading and editing translations to ensure accuracy and clarity
4.Researching specialized terminology and industry-specific concepts to ensure accuracy in translations

REQUIRED

Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English
Ability to accurately interpret and translate written and spoken Chinese and English
Knowledge of Chinese culture and customs
Familiarity with business and professional terminology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with computer programs and translation software
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy in translation
Ability to maintain confidentiality, tertiary education will be an added advanatage
