Job Description


Premium Medical Services Limited is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and compassionate candidate to fill the position of Human Resource and Administration Officer.  The Human Resource and Administration Officer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department. The candidate will handle tasks related to personnel records, data management, policy creation, and recruitment assistance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Monitor time and attendance
  2. To interpret HR policies including conditions of service to staff
  3. Facilitate the performance appraisal process through departmental heads
  4. Maintain a staff database for employees at P M S L.
  5. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  6. Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  7. To keep correspondence documents and oral information secure in order to ensure confidentiality.
  8. Monthly report regarding any HR related activities
  9. Timely processing of contracts for all new staff.
  10. Opening staff files and ensuring that all the files are updated with all the important and relevant documents.
  11. Management of staff welfare
  12. Facilitate onboarding/ induction of new staff.
  13. Management of company fleet

Qualifications/ Experience and Skills

  1. Full Grade 12 Certificate
  2. Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  3. Members of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
  4. 3-5 years’ experience.
  5. Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office word and excel.
  6. Good communication skills.
  7. Attention to Details.
