Weigh Bridge Operator
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Weighbridge Operator to accurately weigh and record vehicles carrying commodities, including maize and soya beans. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the weighbridge, managing data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge to accurately weigh vehicles.
- Manage data entry and maintain accurate records of vehicle weights and commodities.
- Use computer software, including Excel, to record and analyze data.
- Verify vehicle and commodity information for accuracy.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field (weighbridge operation, data entry, or logistics).
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
