SHIFT IN CHARGE ENGINEER × 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
2) Utilizing maintenance management systems and tools to schedule tasks, track work orders, and document activities.
3) Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities during assigned shifts, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
4) Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions to restore functionality.
5) Ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.
6) Monitoring equipment performance through data analysis and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
7) Training and developing maintenance technicians to improve skills and knowledge.
8) Maintaining accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, including downtime analysis, parts usage, and maintenance costs.
9) Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities during assigned shifts, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
10) Ensure records are up-to-date and accessible for audits.
11) Implement measures to improve maintenance processes.
12) Analyse data to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.
13) Ensure maintenance staff are trained and competent in quality standards.
14) Provide ongoing training to enhance technical skills and quality awareness.
15) Identify and mitigate risks related to maintenance affecting product quality.
16) Develop risk assessment protocols for maintenance operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. A Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Direct experience in a manufacturing plant and at least 5 years’ experience
3. Excellent communication skills while working with team members.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Technical knowledge: Understanding mechanical theories, codes, and regulations.
6. Practical skills: Ability to install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
7. Safety awareness: Knowledge of mechanical and electrical safety procedures and protocols.
8. Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
9. Communication: Effective communication with managers and fitters.
10. Attention to detail: Ensuring accurate and precise workmanship.
11. Adaptability: Ability to work in diverse environments and situations.
