We are looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team.

Based in Lusaka, Zambia the successful candidate will be reporting to the CEO and General Manager and together they will handle queries from existing and new clients. The successful candidate will be:

  • Developing sales and marketing strategies
  • Creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature
  • Developing pricing strategies
  • Meeting marketing and sales human resource objectives
  • Overseeing staff
  • Conducting market research
  • Planning and managing marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring marketing and sales success
  • Recruiting, training and scheduling staff members
  • Coordinating with product developments
  • Interact with existing and new clients
  • Maintain client accounts and handle payments
  • Coordinating with relevant departments (logistics, accounts, warehouse etc) to streamline operations.
  • Work with the Front-End Manager to coordinate sales and orders.

Requirements

Should you wish to join this dynamic company, you should:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mathematics, business administration, or related field.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing or sales.
  • Having experience in management may be advantageous.
  • Have an understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Have proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Have a metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
  • Having experience with marketing automation and CRM tools will be an added advantage.

This is an extremely demanding position with minimum hours being 8am to at least 6pm to allow for reports and reconciliation (Monday to Saturday). The benefits support the requirements of the candidate and intensive checks will be conducted, therefore a Police Clearance Certificate of no less than 6 months will be requested.
