Job Description
Zambulance Health Services Limited, founded in 2011, is a health service provider concerned with provision of state-of-the-art, reliable and professional health services, chiefly ambulances, to various service users locally and internationally. In emergency situations every second counts, with most serious cases being fatal if medical intervention is delayed. Our market strategy is to promote a health service that will assure the service user accessible and reliable evacuations as well as home-based care facilities for the terminally ill or those wishing basic care in the comfort of their homes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate
- Must have a Valid Zambian driving License with a minimum of Class C1
- Good knowledge of car mechanics, a certificate in car maintenance is an added advantage
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years’ experience of driving manual transmission vehicles will be an added advantage
- Defensive driving training will be an added advantage
- Must have thorough knowledge of the Road Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Honest, mature and sober character
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Very good driving skills
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Transport Logistics and Driver services
- Responsible for driving patients from point A to point B according to their scheduled appointments.
- Responsible for any assignment assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before it is used for program activities.
- Ensure the vehicle is cleaned nad kept tidy all the time
- Complete trip report and submit the same to supervisor
