Job Description


Purpose of the job

Under the direct supervision of the Human Resources and Administration Officer, the incumbent is responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative and logistical support to ZGF.

Main duties

  1. Provides effective and efficient electronic or manual registry and filling (records management), general office administration and reception services to ZGF.
  2. Ensures availability of functional office equipment and other facilities and maintain office inventory.
  3. Receives and attends to visitors including directing them to relevant individual offices.
  4. In liaison with the HR and Administration Officer, ensures that offices, general surroundings, and office building are well maintained.
  5. Manages ZGF day to day product and service procurements and ensures that all such procurements are cost effective, high quality and approved by all relevant ZGF officers.
  6. Provides effective handling of support functions for the CEO’s office when required, for board and visitors’ meetings as well as all travel requirements.
  7. Participates fully in performance and other organisation-wide management and administrative practices as required.
  8. Performs any other related duties that the supervisor may reasonably request from time to time.

Requirements

Education and Training: Undergraduate degree or relevant qualification such as Development Studies, Business Administration, NGO Management, and Project Management. Membership to IPS is an added advantage.

Relevant experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years post experience
