Job Description
Sheladia Associates, Inc. is soliciting interest from a professional Agriculture Economist to join an upcoming U.S. Government funded project addressing key constraints around agriculture and agro-processing in Southern Africa. Part of this project includes a component around improving roads to decrease transportation costs along select agricultural corridors. The expected scope of work will include feasibility and detailed design. This activity seeks to improve the access, quality, and climate resilience of prioritized roads within prioritized agricultural corridors. This project aims to ensure road durability, connect more farmers to markets, and increase climate resilience in the road sector.

Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Agricultural Economics is required, with relevant bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Agricultural experience in Southern Africa is essential.
