About Us:
Prestige Bearing Centre is a leading supplier of industrial transmission products, seeking an experienced External Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team.

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a results-driven sales professional with extensive knowledge of bearings, fasteners, transmission spares, agricultural spares, and similar products. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Service telephone and on-site customers.
  • Ability to identify the requirements of the customer, using catalogues.
  • Provide product training and support to customers
  • Follow up on the process of deliveries and collections, liaising with the relevant people and organizing whatever is required to ensure customer’s requirements are met.
  • Meet monthly sales targets

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing in the industrial and agricultural products industry
  • In-depth knowledge of bearings, fasteners, transmission spares, agricultural spares, and similar products
  • Willingness to travel extensively (certain weeks of the month) outside Lusaka
  • Proficient in:
    – Maths and English
    – Local language (e.g., Nyanja, Bemba)
    – Computers and technology (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, ERP Software)
  • Minimum motorbike driving license

Desirable Qualities:

  • ⁠Proven sales track record
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willing to relocate to another town to manage the branch, when the need arises
