We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant / Admin who will play a vital role in supporting our financial and administrative functions, contributing to the smooth operation of the business as we continue to grow and innovate.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Support the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting to align with our growth and innovation goals.
- Prepare and submit VAT, tax, and other statutory returns.
Administrative Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the management team, ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Manage office correspondence, emails, and calls in a professional manner.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system and manage office supplies.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, events, and schedules.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees and maintain personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all financial and administrative tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, aligned with our client-focused vision.
