We are seeking a highly organized, results-driven Farm Manager who is passionate about farming and ready to take a leadership role in managing our farm operations. The ideal candidate will have strong farm development skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record in agricultural management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day farm operations, including livestock management, crop cultivation, feed formulation, and composting schedules.
Manage farm workers and assign tasks based on daily and seasonal needs.
Develop and implement farm development strategies to enhance productivity and sustainability.
Maintain farm inventory, ensuring that all supplies (feed, seeds, fertilizers) are well stocked and managed.
Ensure the health and welfare of livestock, coordinating with veterinarians and tracking medical records.
Monitor crop rotation schedules, harvest dates, and composting timelines to ensure optimal farm productivity.
Generate regular reports on farm performance, productivity, and operational challenges.
Collaborate with the farm owners to align farm goals with broader business objectives.
Stay updated on best farming practices and integrate new techniques to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Farm Manager or similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of livestock management, crop rotation, and sustainable farming practices.
Strong reporting and data management skills.
Experience with farm management tools, technology, and reporting software.
Willingness to relocate immediately to Livingstone, Zambia.
Commitment to fostering Christian values and sustainable farming principles.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in farm development and expansion.
Knowledge of feed formulation and composting processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with agricultural technology and satellite-based weather prediction tools (e.g., EOSDA).
