Job Description
Our client in the Hospitality Industry seeks to hire a Bar tender who will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the establishment. The Bartender plays a key role in ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
– Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on drink selections.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
– Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
– Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change.
– Monitor and manage the bar’s inventory, restocking as needed.
– Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper storage and handling of alcoholic beverages.
– Engage with patrons, providing friendly and attentive service.
– Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications, Skills, Proficiency, Experience and Exposure:
– Proven experience as a Bartender in a similar environment.
– Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and presentation.
– Excellent customer service and communication skills.
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy kegs or supplies.
– Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
– Beverage service certification is a plus.
